Preventing the back flow of water

The clapet valve can be designed with a circular or squared section. The valve has the function to preventing the back-flow of the water of rivers in a flood.
This function is ensured by the opening of a pad actuated by the thrust of the water coming from the channel.
A special rubber flap can be fitted to aid the valve opening also in case of a low water head. This valve is a good barrier against the rising of animals in the sewers end bad smell in the pipes.
